Thought I'd write a quick note to all those out there on the inter- web. Ok , I'm stealing that from Tracy Jordan's character on 30 Rock. Very funny I must say. I also finally got hooked on Arrested Development.

Summer on the way and there are a few shows over the summer that should be fun. I was out in Toronto for the tribute to Jeff Healy last week and it was quite something seeing Jack Bruce, Ian Gillian, and everyone involved showing their respects. My thoughts going out to Cristie who put on an unbelievable tribute.

I went to see Bruce Springsteen in Vancouver last month and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Stevie Wonder coming this summer. That should be killer.

I missed Shelby Lynn in Vancouver so I'll have to wait till next time I guess. Bonnie Raitt at the end of August.

I 'm really enjoying Gnarls Barkley's "Who's Gonna Save My Soul Now". Cool song. Daniel Lanois has a new record that I'm loving as well. Other than that I'm working on the next recording's songs and looking forward to putting that into reality somewhere down the line.

Ahhh!! Can't you feel it? Yes the sweet feeling of spring coming down the road and making everything better! This is by far my favourite time of the year ... even more than summer I think.

I'm starting to get creative and getting some songs on the way. Tom Wilson coming out to do an art show and we'll be working together in the studio on some songs a bit then. Craig Northey and I are also getting together from time to time.

I'm going to California for a bit in a few days for a vacation although I'll get together with a songwriter there as well. And I'll probably do a trip to Nashville sometime in the next couple months as well.

Shelby Lynne is coming here soon and Bonnie Raitt is here at the end of August. Have to go to that!

Anyway, thought I should write as I'm not great at doing that too often.

Hello, Hope this note finds you well . The Christmas record came out yesterday and it's nice to finally see it on the shelf. The band was the same as the last Little Big Band 3 recording band and I had some duet help on "Baby, It's Cold Outside" by Ottawa's own Roxanne Potvin.

Craig Northey have been doing the occasional acoustic show through out Canada and I've really enjoyed them. They are different and in some ways more challenging than a show with a band and that has been a good experience for me. Hopefully , we'll come to a place near you with that show.

Next we have the symphony shows on deck and this should be really interesting. 9 shows in all with different 30 piece symphonies in every city. Let me see.....that's a total of 270 players not including my band.

Ouch!

I've never done anything like it. I hear it is really something to play with so many players and instruments.

Anyway I guess that is all for now.

I now will start working on the next recording , whatever shape that takes. Hmmmmm?
