Message from Colin
Hi folks,
We're finishing up the LBB 3 record in LA this week and I will spend most of August chilling as we wait for the October release. Doug James and Greg Piccolo (from the original Roomful Of Blues) play on the new disc as well as Steve and Terry from my band. Lots of fun!
It was great hang with Doug as I had not seen him for a while, and Greg was great as usual. I also did and episode of Robson Arms which will show in the fall.
We just added a show on August 26th at "Sunfest" on Vancouver island . Details will be on the tour calendar.
I guess that's it for now......
Colin

Colin James at Massey Hall In Toronto
"The bounding boy blues-rocker is now a man, age of 41. Now, don't get it wrong -- Colin James, the Regina Kid, is neither paunchy nor grey. In fact, in blue jeans and an untucked button-down shirt, the singer-guitarist was presentable and spry on Saturday, even taking a trademark jaunt through the crowd at Massey Hall, bending a Stratocaster's blue notes as he took to the red carpeted aisles... What has aged well is James' voice, always a soulful instrument, but now better employed." Read more »

Restless rocker eager to get back on tour
Some relieve stress by exercising. Others meditate, guzzle booze, scrub the bathroom or fold origami giraffes. Vancouver rocker Colin James copes by getting down and dirty. With his house, that is. "I took a sledgehammer to a basement wall that had to come down eventually," said the musician. Why was James stressed? Read more »
