About this album

This album was a large step in a different direction for Colin that preluded the "swing craze" of the late nineties by 5-6 years. LBB includes songs by Roscoe Gordon, Roy Brown, Ike Turner and others. The Roomful Of Blues horn section from Rhode Island joined Colin for a two-week recording session that produced a critically acclaimed album that was ahead of its time. LBB received favourable reviews in Rolling Stone, Billboard Magazine and The New York Times. Colin and his "little big band" also made an appearance on Late Night With Conan O'Brian.
